This page links to several resources we have found useful over the years in our work with nonprofits and in our leadership of the Charis Foundation itself.  We have recommended many of them in our conversations with others, and decided to collect them in one place for easy sharing. Many of these resources are targeted at operating nonprofits, but often the same principles and best practices apply to foundations. The views of the authors and practitioners represented here are not necessarily those of the Charis Foundation or its staff or board members.  In particular, not all of these resources were developed by authors or practitioners who share our Christian faith, and we rely upon our friends’ good judgment as to whether a particular resource is helpful in their context.
